Coyotes call up Ebbett, send MacLean to AHL

The Phoenix Coyotes recalled center Andrew Ebbett from the San Antonio Rampage on Monday and sent forward Brett MacLean back to the team's American Hockey League affiliate.
In 36 games with the Rampage this season, the 5-foot-9, 174-pound Ebbett has recorded 11 goals and 25 assists. He ranks first on the team in assists and second in points (36). Ebbett has played in six games for the Coyotes this season, registering one goal.
Last season, the 28-year-old native of Vernon, British Columbia, played in 61 games with the Minnesota Wild, Chicago Blackhawks and Anaheim Ducks, recording eight goals and six assists. Ebbett was signed as a free agent by the Coyotes on July 2, 2010.
MacLean has played in two games with the Coyotes this season, scoring one goal. He leads the Rampage in scoring this season with 16 goals and 21 assists in 40 games.
