LONDON -- After the Dallas Cowboys' 31-17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 11th game of the International Series, head coach Jason Garrett addressed allegations that up to 20 of his players broke curfew on the eve of the game.
Garrett insists there is no veracity to the NFL Network's report.
"We had one bed check last night, it was 10 o'clock, we had everybody there," Garrett said.
The whole talk of his players missing curfew seemed to annoy the eight coach in franchise history, because he busted out some Winston Churchill quotes, one of which he and his team must have heard in their tours of London this week.
Said Garrett: "A lie makes it halfway around the world before truth can get out of bed and put its pants on. We had one bed check last night and everybody was fine."
Indeed, everything turned out fine for the Cowboys. At 7-3 with six games to go, the Cowboys are in prime position for a playoff push, more than they have ever been since Garrett became head coach.
