When your goal is to win the Super Bowl, perhaps the best people to surround yourself with are ones that have already reached that level.
The Dallas Cowboys did that on Friday.
Fresh off helping the Green Bay Packers win Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium, Jimmy Robinson was hired by the Cowboys to be assistant head coach and receivers coach.
The Cowboys also came to terms with former New England Patriots strength coach Mike Woicik.
Before spending 11 seasons with the Patriots, Woicik, who is the owner of six Super Bowl rings, had the same job in Dallas from 1990-96.
Robinson, who replaces Ray Sherman, had been the Packers receivers coach since 2006, helping develop receivers like Greg Jennings, Donald Driver and Jordy Nelson.
The former NFL receiver has 21 years of experience as an NFL assistant, dating back to 1990. He has also worked with Atlanta, Indianapolis, New Orleans and the New York Giants.
In that time, he coached standout receivers like Andre Rison, Marvin Harrison, Donte' Stallworth, Joe Horn and Amani Toomer.
According to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Robinson was responsible for coaching different aspects of the passing game as well as developing the wide receivers. He is considered meticulous and a perfectionist and does not bend an inch on demanding his receivers follow the design of the offense.
Woicik returns to the Cowboys with high praise from past athletes that he has worked with.
