Could Josh Cribbs return to the Browns?

After failing his physical with the Arizona Cardinals, Josh Cribbs remains a free agent.
Could a return to the Cleveland Browns still be in the offing?
It's possible, says Brent Sobleski of the Orange and Brown Report, whose source says that Cribbs and the Browns both have an interest in a reunion.
Cribbs and his 11 returns for touchdowns had drawn the interest of the Arizona Cardinals, but he failed a physical with that team. Tampa Bay and Detroit both need kick returners, but nothing tangible has linked Cribbs to either of those clubs.
With the Browns adding Josh Gordon and Davone Bess in the last two years, finding a place for Cribbs' skills on the offense may be more problematic than before. Just a year away from catching 41 passes, Cribbs was rarely a part of the team's offense in 2012, and Chudzinski's down-the-field style may not play to the strengths of a tough but aging player.
The Browns would mostly be looking at Cribbs as a returner, while the player himself clearly wants to be more involved in the offense.
At this point, with Cribbs health concerns, a happy reunion with the Browns still seems remote, but with the player getting little interest around the league, it's possible that Cribbs demands may lessen.
But beyond being a nice thought that the Kent State product could retire a Brown, it's still hard to see Cribbs as part of the youthful 2013 Browns.
