FOX Sports Arizona has launched a contest to find the next FOX Sports Arizona girl to join Danielle and Mallory. If you or a girl you know believe you/she has what it takes to join this popular duo that has over 46,000 fans on Facebook, visit http://girls.foxsportsarizona.com/ and click the tab to submit a video.
Candidates should be passionate sports fans who love Arizona sports teams, have strong ties to Arizona and want to serve as the connection between Arizona’s teams and the fans. FOX Sports Arizona Girls represent FOX Sports Arizona and are involved with everything that matters to the fans and the community. The Girls appear on network promos to promote telecasts, make appearances at games, charity events, and other local events and are very active with social media, interacting with fans each and every day.
Videos are to be about one minute in length and explain why the candidate should be the next FOX Sports Arizona Girl. Once the video is approved, it will show up online so viewers can choose who they believe should be the winner. The process of collecting submissions will continue until Aug. 2.
From Aug. 3-11, all submissions will be reviewed, culminating in the selection of semifinalists.
From Aug. 14-16, the semifinalists will have auditions that will include an interview, on-camera demonstrations and a green-screen photo shoot. After the auditions, 10 finalists will be selected and notified from Aug. 17-21.
Once the finalists have been announced, the public will have the opportunity to vote on the website for their favorite candidate. Voting will be open from Aug. 17-Sept. 4 when the winner will be determined.
Then, on Sept. 17, the winner will make her first appearance at the Diamondbacks-Dodgers game at 6 p.m. during the pregame show and will officially join Danielle and Mallory as the next FOX Sports Arizona Girl.
