Columbus tied the franchise record they set earlier this year by winning its fifth consecutive road victory, edging Dallas 2-1 today at the American Airlines Arena. The Blue Jackets have an 8-3-2 record in their last 13 games, rebounding from losing the previous five straight.
"We did a good job of quieting the crowd," head coach Scott Arniel said. "Sometimes with these afternoon games, it's whoever wakes up first. I thought we were going right from the start.
"We are a real team. If we are not going with everybody, we don't have success. Our wins have come when everybody shows up for 60 minutes."
