Colts add Chudzinski to coaching staff

A little less than six weeks after he was fired by the Cleveland Browns, Rob Chudzinski is back in the NFL.
The Indianapolis Colts announced Saturday that Chduzisnki has been hired as a special assistant to head coach Chuck Pagano.
Pagano and Chudzinski have a relationship that dates back to their days at the University of Miami, first when Pagano was a graduate assistant while Chudzinski was a player and later when both were Miami assistants under Butch Davis. Both were on the Browns staff under Davis in 2004.
Chudzinski's first head-coaching job lasted all of 352 days; he was fired following the Browns ninth straight loss in the 2013 season finale at Pittsburgh. Chudzinski had previously served as offensive coordinator with the Browns and Carolina Panthers.
"Rob and I have a long professional relationship and his resume speaks for itself," Pagano said in a statement. "He brings a wealth of knowledge and will be a tremendous help to our entire team moving forward. Needless to say, we're excited to have Chud joining our family."
