Further buttressing the argument that there's little in football better than a lineman scoring on offense, Mercer freshman Thomas Marchman caught a touchdown pass on Saturday in a blowout win over Warner and then executed a beautiful two-part celebration.
First, a group of his teammates assembled like bowling pins and Marchman dropped them with a strike, and then he capped that off with a cartwheel. He's pretty nimble for a 287-pound man.
Mercer drew an excessive celebration flag for the display, but I think we can all agree they got their money's worth.
