FOX Sports South's college football writers and guests offer a weekly preview of the upcoming slate. This week, Zach Dillard, Cory McCartney and Jay Clemons look at LSU-Florida, Oregon-Washington, The Red River Shootout and more.

No. 17 Florida at No. 10 LSU: In a classic Offense vs. Defense clash, the Gators come to town with a top-five scoring defense (allowing 12.2 points per game) to face LSU's high-scoring offense. Led by the reinvigorated Zach Mettenberger under center, LSU is averaging 45.5 points per outing. Something has to give.

No. 2 Oregon at No. 16 Washington: Coming off a three-point loss to No. 5 Stanford, Washington hosts the nation's No. 2 team. Seem fair? In one of the top QB matchups of the year, expect points galore.

No. 25 Missouri at No. 7 Georgia: A mismatch on paper just a few weeks ago, undefeated Missouri keeps getting better as the injuries pile up for Georgia. With three of their top receivers out (and at least one standout running back), can the Bulldogs stay ahead in the SEC East?

No. 12 Oklahoma at Texas: Rarely does The Red River Shootout look so one-sided. Does Mack Brown have another trick up his sleeve?

No. 9 Texas A&M at Ole Miss: Johnny Manziel and the Aggies provide yet another test for the Rebels, whose once-promising season is quickly coming off the hinges. Can Hugh Freeze & Co. rebound from their latest loss in Auburn?

Keith Price, Washington: The senior's performance against Stanford was somewhat lost in the postgame shuffle of the "faking injuries" claims and such, but he played well (350 yards, 2 TD) and continues to impress. If the Huskies are going to upset Oregon, he'll need to have his offense rolling.

Zach Mettenberger, LSU: Will the offensive revolution in Baton Rouge continue? It's up to Mettenberger to put it together against Florida's D.

Aaron Murray, Georgia: Injuries on top of injuries have affected Georgia's offense. Can Murray keep the ball rolling even without a number of his top weapons?

No. 18 Michigan at Penn State: Do the Nittany Lions actually have the edge at quarterback with true freshman Christian Hackenburg? The Wolverines' have struggled of late with Devin Gardner — a preseason pick as a breakout player — and now travel into Happy Valley.

Georgia Tech at BYU: Which rushing attack wins out in Provo? The Yellow Jackets are looking to bounce back after a couple tough weeks.

No. 19 Northwestern at Wisconsin: Is Northwestern due for a letdown (Vegas thinks so) after losing to Ohio State? Camp Randall is no cakewalk.
