When playing baseball, that glove on your hand is designed to catch the ball for you...but that's not to say you can't find help in other places.

Take notes from Griffin Barnes, catcher for Grand Canyon University. Over the weekend, Barnes got creative in recording a putout of a botched bunt attempt by a player from Seattle University.

After the bunt attempt was popped up, the ball bounced off of Barnes' mask, then off of the catcher's arm as he dove to save it, then fell into the glove for the out. It was a great display of focus and determination...and it probably involved a bit of luck too.

Just how they drew it up? No, probably not. But it still counts the same on the scoreboard.
