NEW YORK (AP) -- Chris Paul is in uniform but didn't start for the Clippers against the New York Knicks because of a mild left groin strain.

Paul scored 34 points despite the injury in a 109-102 loss at Atlanta on Tuesday night.

Eric Bledsoe was starting in the backcourt alongside Randy Foye for the Clippers, who went into the game tied with Memphis for fourth place in the Western Conference.
