Cleveland TV station replays* ‘The Decision,’ chaos ensues

There's never a dull moment with social media and sports.
Early Tuesday, the four-year anniversary of ESPN airing LeBron James' "The Decision," Cleveland TV station, WEWS NewsChannel5 sent out the following tweet.
WATCH: Replay of “The Decision” NewsChannel5 Special on 4-year anniversary http://t.co/JNRLFW2KBi #LeBron
— WEWS NewsChannel5 (@WEWS) July 8, 2014
A headline on the story linked by the WEWS said, "NewsChannel5 replaying 'Decision' special at 10 AM."
Obviously, this infuriated a lot of Cavaliers fans, who couldn't understand why a local station would re-air LeBron James announcing that he was leaving Cleveland.
@WEWS who would want to watch that ever again!!!! #RUSERIOUS

@WEWS really? Did your Twitter get hacked? #changePassword

However, when the Buzzer called WEWS to find out the thinking behind this move, Director of Media, Colleen Seitz, told us that "The Decision" was only being reaired on the station's website and not their television network.
Seitz also told us that she was not aware of any backlash to the stations decision to highlight "The Decision."
We have a feeling that will change.
