Alabama has won 18 consecutive games, 28 consecutive regular season games, 17 consecutive Southeastern Conference games, and 16 consecutive home games, but there is no presumption the Crimson Tide can make it two consecutive wins over the Florida Gators.
Alabama is ranked number one in the nation and Florida is number seven.
The Crimson Tide and Gators meet at 2:30 p.m. CDT Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium (101,821) in Tuscaloosa in a match-up of the last two national champions (Florida in 2008, Bama in 2009) and of the last two SEC Championship Game contestants.
