The Reds announced Monday left fielder Chris Heisey has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring.
To replace Heisey, the Reds recalled outfielder Donald Lutz from Double-A Pensacola, who already has five home runs and 14 RBIs in 21 games this season with Pensacola. Lutz had two home runs and batted .277 during spring training.
Donald Lutz will join the Reds pre game show on FOX Sports Ohio.
Ryan Ludwick, currently on the DL nursing a right shoulder injury, will be a guest during the third inning of the Reds broadcast on FOX Sports Ohio.
