Christo Kourtzidis transfer leaves FSU thin at tight end

Florida State reserve tight end Christo Kourtzidis has decided to transfer and will sit out the 2013 season.
Kourtzidis had shoulder surgery in April but was expected to play this fall for the Seminoles. But Kourtzidis has decided to transfer, although he has not chosen a school.
He played in eight games last season and had one catch as a freshman.
Kourtzidis' transfer leaves Florida State thin at tight end. Kevin Haplea went down with a season-ending knee injury in June.
That leaves just starter Nick O'Leary and true freshman Jeremy Kerr as the only two scholarship tight ends. O'Leary was involved in a motorcycle accident in May, but coach Jimbo Fisher said he has fully recovered.
