You can't say that new Eagles coach Chip Kelly doesn't have his players in mind.

However, Chip isn't just handing out sweet treats. According to Phillmag.com,Kelly had other snacks such as greek yogurt, fruit and Kashi bars. As tight end Brent Celek told CSN Philadelphia, the snacks are tailored to each player's workout regimen and diet for the offseason. “They’ve got a lot of healthy things where once you’re done working out, you’ve got to replenish your body,” tight end Brent Celek said to Phillymag.com. “Otherwise, it’s just going to keep breaking down, so I like it." Players are also wearing heart monitors under their uniforms this year as it seems that Kelly is keeping a close on eye on his team's health. “They want to make sure our performance level stays level, instead of going down,” Trent Cole said to Phillmag.com. “We want to stay level or just go up. And they’re going to tell us that. They’re going to tell us, ‘Hey, you need to do this or you need to do that.’ They’re just helping us out. They want us to be at our best.” Need more changes? Kelly has also re-arranged the locker room and has started playing music during practices, which has made a fan out of Celek. “Love it,” said tight end Brent Celek. “Makes it fun. When you’re not out on the field doing actual plays, it just keeps you going, keeps you interested in what’s going on out there. You’ve got some background music. It’s like sitting in a nice restaurant, and you have background music when you’re not talking to the person sitting next to you.” Not bad, coach. Not bad at all.
