Chiefs' Bowe thought Fiat commercial was 'photo shoot'

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Did you hear the one about the time Dwayne Bowe rolled with Charlie Sheen?
Bowe runs with a fast crowd in the offseason. But even he was surprised when he turned up to a commercial set earlier this year to find actors Sheen, Keana Texeira and Tyson Ritter living it up.
"I thought it was a photo shoot," Bowe said Wednesday after wrapping up his second day at the Kansas City Chiefs' last mandatory offseason minicamp of 2013.
It was more than that. Bowe was one of several celebrities — singer Ariana, hip hop artist Pitbull, Dallas Cowboys wideout Dez Bryant, and Chad Johnson also make cameos — to appear in a television commercial for the auto manufacturer Fiat, one apparently shot along the beaches of South Florida.
Bowe appears several times during the piece — the first time, he's playing paper football (and looking bored) with Bryant and Johnson. In another shot, he's dancing and living it up with some young ladies.
"I was already down in Miami," the Chiefs' receiver explained. "They just called me. Chad was like, 'Come on, do it with me. I was like, 'All right.' So it wasn't a big deal."
But at least you got a Fiat out of the deal, right?
"Nah, I actually didn't," Bowe said.
And as to whether he'll take on more commercials . . .
"I'll leave that up to you guys," he replied.
