CHARLOTTE, N.C. – It's time to check in with the Charlotte women's basketball program and the third and final edition of a three-part summer notebook series. Each of these notebooks was designed to provide updates on the 49ers summer happenings and catch up with a member of the coaching staff.

The focus for this edition is to introduce new staff members who will be working with the program starting in 2013-14. Assistant coach Nicole Woods joined the staff in the early summer period and has endured her first recruiting season searching high and low for new Niners. Below is an extensive, in-depth video interview with her.

Also new to the program this season will be athletics trainer Jen Winningham and strength coach Skyler Farley. Short bios on each of them are below to help Charlotte fans become acquainted with their involvement with the program and the 49ers athletic department.
