The Canton Charge, the exclusively owned and operated NBA Development League affiliate of the Cleveland Cavaliers, will tip off their 2014-15 campaign at home against the Delaware 87ers (Philadelphia 76ers affiliate) on Saturday, November 15th at 7:00 p.m. The schedule of games for all 18 teams was announced by the NBA Development League office today.

The 50-game regular season schedule consists of 24 home and road games, with two mid-January matchups at the annual NBA D-League Showcase (location and matchups to be announced at a later date).  Of the Charge's 24 home games, 16 will be on weekend dates (six Friday, nine Saturday, one Sunday). Atlantic Division opponents account for 24 games on the schedule, while the Charge have 14 games against Central Division opponents, four against Southwest Division foes and six against the West.

Canton will play nine of their first 13 games at home, including the day after Thanksgiving on Friday, November 28th at 7:00 p.m. against the Erie BayHawks (Orlando Magic affiliate).  The Charge will meet each of their four Atlantic Division foes a schedule-high six times over the course of the season.  Canton's longest home stands of 2014-15 are two four-game sets, December 6th-13th and March 14th-21st, while they'll never be away from the Civic Center for more than three games at a time all season.  The Charge will play 15 back-to-back game sets, with two at home, six on the road and seven split.

The Charge make their first-ever visits to face the newly minted Westchester Knicks (New York Knicks affiliate) on Wednesday, November 19th at 7:00 p.m. and the Grand Rapids Drive (Detroit Pistons affiliate) on Saturday, February 21st at 7:00 p.m.  Other schedule highlights include the Cavs Night on Saturday, January 31st at 7:00 p.m. against Erie, as well as Fan Appreciation Night to close the regular season on Friday, April 3rd at 7:00 p.m. versus the Iowa Energy (Memphis Grizzlies affiliate).  Playoff rematches from last season against the Sioux Falls Skyforce (Miami Heat affiliate) will take place in Canton on December 9th and March 14th, and on the road in a back-to-back on February 6-7th.  All in all, Canton will face every team in the D-League at least once this season with the exception of the Idaho Stampede (Utah Jazz affiliate).
