Charge drop home decision to Skyforce

CANTON -- Olek Czyk scored 22 points and Shane Edwards and Gilbert Brown added 21 apiece, but it wasn't enough as the Canton Charge dropped a 113-109 decision to the visiting Sioux Falls Skyforce in NBA D-League action Tuesday.
The Charge (25-16) are tied for first place in the East Division.
Anthony Mason paced the Skyforce (24-17) with a game-high 27 points, while Henry Walker tallied 23.
"I thought it was a little bit of a chaotic game," said Charge coach Steve Hetzel. "I didn't think we started the game well at all. Obviously, when we got down 17, we dug ourselves a huge hole. We were very sloppy with the basketball."
Trailing 93-86 with 7:54 to play, Canton clawed back with a 10-3 run to tie the game for the first time since the opening quarter at 96-all. However, Sioux Falls scored on seven of its final eight possessions to seal the win and take the season series 2-1.
"We were getting stops, but when it came down to late in the fourth quarter, we were just a little burned out," Brown said.
Canton next host the Los Angeles D-Fenders on Friday at 7 p.m. and again Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
