Chandimal century leads Sri Lanka to 226 in 3rd ODI

DAMBULLA, Sri Lanka (AP) Dinesh Chandimal held Sri Lanka's innings together, scoring his fourth one-day international century and helping his team to a modest 226 in the third of a five-match series against Australia on Sunday.

Coming in to bat when Sri Lanka was 23 for two, Chandimal hit seven boundaries in his 130-ball innings of 102 before being out as the last batsman with four deliveries still remaining in the innings.

Australian leg spinner Adam Zampa was the pick of the bowlers, taking three wickets while fast bowlers John Hastings, Mitchell Starc and James Faulkner took two wickets each.

The five match series is level 1-1.
