Dion Waiters will start for the injured Kyrie Irving for the Cavaliers' game Tuesday against the Miami Heat, coach Mike Brown said. Tipoff is 7 p.m. on FOX Sports Ohio.

Waiters has primarily been used as a sixth man off Brown's bench, with Waiters starting just nine of the 55 games in which he has played. He is third on the team in scoring at 14.5 points per game, down from 14.7 in his rookie year.

Irving strained his left biceps in Sunday's loss at the Los Angeles Clippers and will miss two weeks, then be re-evaluated.

The Cavs (26-41) are five games behind the Atlanta Hawks for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with 15 games to go.

In other Cavs news, forward Luol Deng, guard Matthew Dellavedova and swingman C.J. Miles are all questionable with ankle sprains.
