Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert will play in Thursday's home game vs. the Miami Heat, while power forward Kevin Love is a game-time decision, coach David Blatt said Wednesday.

Shumpert injured his ankle on a dunk attempt in Sunday's 87-86 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Love was elbowed in the lower back. Both left the game and did not return following their injuries.

Shumpert and Love both practiced Wednesday -- the Cavs' first of the week after taking off Monday and Tuesday. Love, however, did not participate in drills involving contact.

Love is averaging 16.5 points and a team-high 10.0 rebounds in 70 games (all starts) this season.

Shumpert, who came to Cleveland via a January trade with New York, is averaging 6.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in 32 games with the Cavaliers.

The Cavs (48-27) lead the Central Division and own the No. 2 playoff seed in the Eastern Conference with seven games remaining.
