The Spurs probably should’ve been done three years ago. Instead, they seem to be going in the opposite direction -- getting better with injury and age. They have the best record in the NBA, they’re still one of the most efficient teams on both ends, they can beat you with or without their stars. And they typically don’t lose regular-season games to young teams like the Cavaliers.

• Tim Duncan (knee) is listed as day to day, but it wouldn’t be surprising if he rested until after the All-Star break this weekend.
• Parker (knee) is probable. He didn’t play in the Spurs’ game at Chicago on Monday. The Spurs routed the Bulls anyway.
• The Spurs sport the NBA’s best road record (19-10). The Cavs are among the league’s worst at home.
• The Spurs are also one of two teams to rank in the top five in points, field goal, three-point field goal and free-throw percentage. (Thunder are the other.)
• All this despite the fact the Spurs have used 12 different starters this season. That makes them the team with the most players with at least one start. And they just keep winning.
