Cavaliers win shows there's progress, work to do

CLEVELAND -- Now that the Cavaliers are 10 games into their season, let's evaluate.
When they make shots and play fast -- as they did in Tuesday night's 101-93 home win over the 76ers -- they sometimes find opponents struggling to keep up. Their bench is often outscoring their starting lineup, they're taking care of the ball and guys are playing hungry, playing like every quarter and every game have significance.
On the flip side, the Cavaliers tend to go ice cold rather than just go through short dry spells. They've played shorthanded much of the season. They're still learning each other, a brand new system and a brand new coach. They've blown opportunities to win at home; Tuesday night's win snapped a four-game home losing streak.
They're not 5-5 by accident.
