A pair of Bibbys had a lot to do with Shadow Mountain High School winning its first Arizona boys state basketball championship in 14 years, but the Matadors' return to prominence was no two-person act.

With five sophomores in the starting lineup, the Matadors dismantled Flagstaff 83-58 in Saturday's Division II title game.

Former Shadow Mountain and University of Arizona great and NBA star Mike Bibby was acting coach for the title game while head coach Jerry Conner was out of town for a funeral, and Bibby's son Mike Jr. had 27 points and eight assists in the win.

Also coming up large for the Matadors were sophomores Carlos Johnson (26 points, 11 rebounds) and J.J. Rhymes (17 points).

Johnson set the tone early with a steal and coast-to-coast trip that ended with a flourish when he took the ball behind his behind-the-back before dunking it home for two.

It's worth a look or two right here, as seen on FOX Sports Arizona.
