Cards fans welcome Suga Shane back to Roger Dean Stadium

Saturday's visit from the Twins also marked the return of former Cardinals outfielder Shane Robinson to Roger Dean Stadium. As is usually the case when a former player comes to town (be it in St. Louis or Jupiter), Robinson received a nice ovation from the standing-room only crowd prior to his first at-bat.
After the game, Robinson took to Twitter to thank the fans for their warm welcome.
Robinson, who signed a minor league deal with Minnesota in December, played in 268 games for the Cardinals over five seasons, compiling a .231 batting average with five home runs and 37 RBIs. He played a key role against the Dodgers in the 2013 National League Championship Series, driving in three runs on three hits with one homer, which provided an insurance tally in the seventh inning of Game 4.
