The Cardinals added some depth to their offensive line on Thursday by signing veteran guard Russ Hochstein. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 34-year-old Hochstein is entering his 12th season in the NFL after playing with the Denver Broncos (2009-11), New England Patriots (2002-08) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2001-02). He played in 15 regular-season games with the Broncos last year and started both of the team's postseason contests at right guard.

Hochstein, listed at 6-foot-4, 305 pounds, has started at both guard and center in his career. The 2001 fifth-round pick out of Nebraska has appeared in 138 regular-season games with 36 starts and 15 postseason contests with six starts. He also owns two Super Bowl rings from his tenure with the Patriots.

The Cardinals signed guard Adam Snyder away from the 49ers as a free agent and expect him to start on the right side of the line opposite left guard Darryn Colledge, but they lost 2011 starter Rex Hadnot and backup Deuce Lutui in free agency.
