Capuano impresses Dodgers with outing

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- Chris Capuano pitched two scoreless innings, leading the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 7-2 victory over the Oakland Athletics on Thursday.

Projected as the Dodgers' No. 5 starter, Capuano gave up two hits and struck out three.

Alex Castellanos hit a solo homer for Los Angeles.

A's top prospect Jarrod Parker, acquired in an offseason trade with Arizona for Trevor Cahill, gave up two runs in two innings.
