'Canes Stephen Morris, Allen Hurns to East-West game

The University of Miami's Allen Hurns and Stephen Morris accepted invitations to play in the 89th East-West Shrine Game to be played Jan. 18, 2014, at Tropicana Field.

Morris, a senior quarterback, is 186 for 317 passing with 2,868 yards, 21
touchdowns and 12 interceptions. The third-team All-ACC pick posted
four 300-yard passing games for the second straight season. Morris ranks
third all-time in program history with 7,736 passing yards and 49
passing touchdowns.
 
Hurns, a senior wide receiver, is 19 yards shy of breaking the school single-season mark for receiving. He has a team-high 60 receptions for 1,138 yards. The second-team All-ACC selection has also caught six touchdowns.

The duo will be the 45th and 46th Hurricanes to play in the game, with Morris the first 'Canes quarterback to participate since Ken Dorsey in 2003.
