Portland Timbers coach Caleb Porter included Tim Cahill, Jermain Defoe and Robbie Keane on his 23-man roster to face Bayern Munich in the MLS All-Star Game next month.

Porter retained all 11 players named in the Fan XI earlier this week and supplemented that group with 10 further selections on Saturday night.

Cahill, Defoe and Keane highlighted a group that also includes Golden Boot leader Bradley Wright-Phillips (New York) and Portland captain Will Johnson. Porter also added Osvaldo Alonso (Seattle), Aurélien Collin (Sporting Kansas City), Bill Hamid (D.C. United), Chad Marshall (Seattle) and Michael Parkhurst (Columbus).

MLS commissioner Don Garber used his two selections to name Erick Torres from league-owned Chivas USA and Diego Valeri from the hometown Timbers.

Seattle led all MLS clubs with five All-Star selections, while New York, LA Galaxy and Sporting Kansas City each contributed three players to the squad poised to face the Bundesliga champions at Providence Park on Aug. 6
