SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Padres today announced that Manager Bud Black has been relieved of his duties.
The club will immediately begin the formal search for an Interim Manager for the remainder of the 2015 season. Until that process has concluded, Bench Coach Dave Roberts will serve as the Manager beginning with tonight's game against Oakland.
General Manager A.J. Preller will be available for the media at approximately 3:30 p.m. in the Padres dugout.
