Ohio State recruit Jae'Sean Tate, a senior forward at Pickerington (Ohio) Central, will miss the rest of the season as a result of a shoulder injury.
Tate, a four-star prospect who signed with coach Thad Matta's program in November, is the No. 14 forward prospect in the country according to Scout.com and the No. 54 overall prospect.
The news came Friday night via the Tigers' official twitter page, but the injury was not new.

Tate told ThisWeekNews.com in Columbus on Thursday he had hurt his right shoulder in May and it has continued to bother him.
"There hasn't been a lot of pain, but I don't want to damage my shoulder any more," he told the site.
Tate averaged 23 points and 11 rebounds per game as a junior after helping the Tigers win the Division I state championships during his sophomore season.
His father, Jermaine, played collegiately at Ohio State and Cincinnati.
