Buckeye football uniform tweak revealed?

Speculating on Ohio State football uniform tweaks – be they new permanent looks or the alternate uniform for the coming season – seems to be becoming a yearly practice among Buckeye and the OSU football Internet community, and new fodder for debate emerged today.
The source was The Buckeye Room, a retailer of – you guessed it – Ohio State apparel that posted online pictures of a pair of new No. 5 jerseys for sale.

The store used Twitter to reveal a scarlet jersey that from the back looks largely the same as what the Buckeyes have been wearing since 2006 with one notable addition – seven buckeye leaves on the collar.

Via its Facebook page, the store also revealed the white road version of the jersey.
Whether or not this is representative of what the Buckeyes will actually wear on the field this season remains to be seen, but it is something that is sure to generate some buzz one way or another as some fans are all about what's fresh and new while others prefer to see a classic look remain unchanged from year to year.
