Bryant misses Cowboys' practice but says he will play

IRVING, Texas – Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant did not practice Wednesday with tightness in his back.

The move was apparently precautionary. Bryant told reporters he will play Sunday at New Orleans while he moved about the locker room with ease.

Back issues can often lead to hamstring problems. That's something the Cowboys are very familiar with.

Receiver Miles Austin continued to sit out with an ongoing hamstring issue. Cornerback Morris Claiborne also did not practice because of a hamstring injury that caused him to miss last week's game.

Safety Barry Church, who also has been bothered by a hamstring, did participate in Wednesday's practice.
