Browns sign Dominic Alford

BEREA, Ohio -- The Cleveland Browns on Saturday re-signed free agent Dominic Alford, the club announced. In addition, the team waived linebacker Adrian Moten.
Alford, a 6-3, 320-pound offensive lineman is a first-year NFL player. He was originally signed by the Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2011 and spent the entire season on the team’s practice squad. Alford spent the final four weeks of the 2012 season on the Carolina Panthers’ practice squad.
Alford was with Browns during the 2013 offseason after signing with the club on Feb. 6, and was waived on July 24.
While in college, Alford appeared in 42 games with 21 starts at Minnesota. A native of Cleveland, he graduated from Shaker Heights High School.
