Browns sign cousin of Antonio Cromartie, DRC to practice squad

The Cleveland Browns on Wednesday signed DB Marcus Cromartie to the practice squad. General Manager Ray Farmer made the announcement.
Cromartie is 6-0, 195-pound and is officially in his first NFL season out of Wisconsin.

Originally signed by San Diego as a undrafted free agent in 2013, Cromartie spent the first 15 weeks of his rookie season on the Chargers' practice squad. He was elevated to the active roster for the final two games but was inactive.
He is cousins with Arizona DB Antonio Cromartie and New York Giants DB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.
