Brewers On Deck set for Sunday

MILWAUKEE — More than 50 players and coaches, as well as alumni, broadcasters and front office members will be in attendance Sunday at the Delta Airlines Center in Milwaukee for the Brewers' annual winter fan fest, Brewers On Deck.

Doors open to the facility at 7 a.m., with the exhibit hall and actual event running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Highlighting the festival is the opportunity for fans to get autographs and meet their favorite players. Autographs range in price from free to $25, and players have a limit of 250 autographs. Each autograph comes on a photo card provided by the team, and the Brewers can't guarantee players will sign other memorabilia or personalize the item.

Recipients of autographs for Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun, right-hander Yovani Gallardo, second baseman Rickie Weeks and radio broadcaster Bob Uecker will be chosen through a random selection process. Numbered coupons will be available at the Delta Center at 8 a.m. and run until an hour before the player is scheduled to sign. A drawing will then take place to see who has the chance to get the top players' autographs.

Other events throughout the day include Q&A sessions between fans and the Brewers coaching staff, executives and players, game shows, a roundtable discussion with Milwaukee media, baseball clinics and the reveal of the winning uniform design in the "Design a YOUniform" contest.

All proceeds from the autographs benefit the Brewers Community Foundation, and cash is the only method of payment allowed.

Tickets for the event are $15 in advance and $20 at the door for adults and $9 in advance and $15 at the door for children 14 and under.
