Each week FOXSportsWisconsin.com identifies the top pitcher and position player from the Milwaukee Brewers' top four main affiliates: Triple-A Colorado Springs, Double-A Biloxi, High-A Brevard County and Low-A Wisconsin. Here's a look at all eight players who made this week's list.

TRIPLE-A COLORADO SPRINGS (5-3)

Player of the Week: OF Ben Guez

Week stats: .500 (11-for-22), 2 HR, 4 2B, 7 RBI in 8 games

Recent highlights: The 28-year-old had a monster week for the Sky Sox, hitting .500 with six extra-base hits. Guez had three multi-hit games, including three-hit nights against Memphis on Tuesday and Friday. Signed as a minor-league free agent this past offseason, Guez's big week has raised his season batting average to .289.

Pitcher of the Week: RHP Corey Knebel

Week stats: 3 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K, 1 save

Recent highlights: It was another rough week for Colorado Springs' starting pitchers, but a couple of 40-man-roster bullpen arms had success. Knebel tossed three scoreless outings this past week and picked up his sixth save of the season with a perfect inning Thursday against Memphis. Like most pitchers at Colorado Springs, Knebel struggled at the beginning of the season but has now thrown four straight scoreless innings to lower his ERA to 4.70. He was called up to Milwaukee on Monday.

DOUBLE-A BILOXI (3-4)

Player of the Week: 1B Nick Ramirez

Week stats: .423 (11-for-26), 3 2B, 9 RBI

Recent highlights: Ramirez began last week with three consecutive multi-hit games and finished the seven-game stretch with a .423 batting average. The 25-year-old drove in three runs against Jackson on Tuesday and went 4-for-6 with two RBI on Wednesday. Ramirez closed the week by going 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI against Jacksonville on Sunday. The 2011 fourth-round pick is hitting .301 with six home runs and 28 RBI on the season

Pitcher of the Week: RHP Tyler Wagner

Week stats: 1-0, 11 IP, 3.27 ERA, 12 H, 2 BB, 6 K in two starts

Recent highlights: Wagner is picking up where he left off in 2014 (1.86 ERA in 25 starts for High-A Brevard County) at the next level. The right-hander is 5-0 with a 1.91 ERA and hasn't given up more than three runs in his eight starts for the Shuckers. Wagner allowed three runs in six innings in a win over Jacksonville on Tuesday and surrendered just one run in five innings Sunday in a rematch with the Suns.

HIGH-A BREVARD COUNTY (2-5)

Player of the Week: OF Victor Roache

Week stats: .400 (12-for-30), 2 HR, 5 2B, 5 RBI in seven games

Recent highlights: One of Milwaukee's first-round picks in 2012, Roache is thriving in his second season playing with the Manatees. Roache had four multi-hit games last week, including going 4-for-6 with two home runs and four RBI against Bradenton on Thursday. The 23-year-old is hitting .305 with eight home runs and 28 RBI but also has 55 strikeouts in 141 at-bats.

Pitcher of the Week: RHP Jorge Ortega

Week stats: 6 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 3 K

Recent highlights: Ortega held Bradenton to just one earned run over six innings in Brevard County's 5-4 extra-innings win Tuesday. The 21-year-old Venezuelan right-hander is having success (2.77 ERA in six starts) in his first year of full-season professional baseball, as he made the jump right from rookie-level Helena to High-A Brevard County.

LOW-A WISCONSIN (1-5)

Player of the Week: 3B Dustin DeMuth

Week stats: .438 (7-for-16), 1 RBI

Pitcher of the Week: RHP Joshua Torres

Week stats: 6 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 K

Recent highlights: Torres was a tough-luck loser Friday, as Wisconsin fell 2-1 to Kane County despite the 21-year-old allowing just two runs in six innings. It was the season debut for the 21-year-old Puerto Rican, who spent last season with Milwaukee's entry in the Arizona Rookie League.
