The Atlanta Braves released a tentative schedule for 2015 on Monday -- a slate that includes Interleague encounters against the American League East and six home outings to close out the season in early October.

Here are the highlights of a schedule that has yet to be deemed official by Major League Baseball:

1. Atlanta is slated to open the year at home on Monday, April 6 against the Miami Marlins (three-game series).

2. The Braves follow up the Marlins series with their first road trip of the young season -- a three-game set against the New York Mets (April 10-12).

3. The Braves are slated for 20 Interleague games in 2015 -- all against the AL East. The home tilts include the Rays (May 19-20), Red Sox (June 17-18), Yankees (Aug. 28-30) and Blue Jays (Sept. 15-17).

4. With Interleague play, Atlanta will subsequently travel to Toronto (April 17-19), Boston (June 15-16), Baltimore (July 27-29) and Tampa Bay/St. Pete (Aug. 11-12).

5. The Fourth Of July holiday week will include six games at Turner Field -- against the Nationals (June 30-July 2) and Phillies (July 3-5).

6. Citing the All-Star break as the unofficial midpoint of a season, the Braves Braves will have 40 home games before the All-Star Game and 41 at Turner Field after that.

Here's where things get interesting, though: For road games, Atlanta is slated for 49 road outings before the Midsummer Classic ... but only 32 road games for the season's final 11 weeks.

7. The Braves will end the 2015 campaign with potentially crucial series against the Nationals (Sept. 29-Oct. 1) and Cardinals (Oct. 2-4).
