Milwaukee Brewers leftfielder Ryan Braun is up for an honor of a different kind.
Braun is one of seven players up for fan vote to grace the cover of the video game "MLB 13: The Show" for Sony PlayStation 3 and PS Vista.
Sony is letting the fans decided the game's cover player for the first time ever. Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp, Yankees left-hander C.C. Sabathia, Pittsburgh centerfielder Andrew McCutchen, Nationals centerfielder Bryce Harper, Giants catcher Buster Posey and Tigers third baseman Miguel Cabrera join Braun as candidates for the cover.
In his campaign video, Braun uses a unique way to list off his many awards and milestones he's accomplished over his six year career with the Brewers.
Fans can vote for Braun at MLB.com/covervote or on Twitter by using the hashtag #MLB13Braun. Voting began Monday and runs through Friday at 7 p.m. CST. The top selling Major League Baseball video game, "MLB 13: The Show" is set to be released on March 5.
