Brandon Saad to drop 'man child' nickname with Blue Jackets?

On CD102.5 The Morning Show, newly-acquired Blue Jackets winger Brandon Saad talked about dropping his nickname with the Chicago Blackhawks. "I'm getting a little older," Saad said, "I think it's time to drop the (man child) nickname."

Saad's Blackhawk teammates, Patrick Kane and Patrick Sharp, came up with the nickname for Saad because of his size for a young kid. The winger helped the Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup last season, scoring 23 goals on 203 shots with 29 assists in 82 games.

The Blue Jackets suggested a new nickname for Saad on Twitter, following the lead of Cincinnati Reds' third baseman Todd Frazier and his nickname, Toddfather.

Saad and fellow Blue Jackets' offseason acquisition Gregory Campbell were introduced to the media on Wednesday.
