Boyd: Clowney should go No. 1; calls his own mock draft free fall 'hilarious'

Tajh Boyd is fully aware of just how dominant Jadeveon Clowney can be.
Playing for South Carolina's Palmetto State rival Clemson, Boyd faced off against Clowney three times, including a 2012 meeting in which Clowney sacked the Tigers quarterback 4 1/2 times. It's a first-hand knowledge of the nightmare the former South Carolina defensive end that makes it hard for Boyd to believe Clowney is falling NFL mock drafts.
Here's Boyd's exchange with Jay Mohr during an appearance Thursday on 'Jay Mohr Sports':
Mohr went on to discuss Boyd's own NFL future, which has taken a hit of late.
Once considered a top-10 pick, Boyd has slipped out of the first round of many mock drafts -- and doesn't even make the second round in this entry. The free fall comes despite earning ACC Player of the Year honors last season and throwing for 3,851 yards and 34 touchdowns in '13 and 11,904 yards and 39 scores over his career.
Boyd, as he told Mohr, thinks it's "hilarious."
