Boucher streak featured on Classic Coyotes

FOX Sports Arizona will present two new episodes of "Classic Coyotes Tuesday" on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
At 8 p.m., we will feature one of the greatest individual feats in franchise history, as Brian Boucher caps a record-setting streak of shutout goaltending in a Jan. 9, 2004, game against the Minnesota Wild. Boucher stops 21 shots in the Coyotes' 2-0 victory en route to extending his shoutout streak to 325 minutes, 45 seconds.
We'll follow that at 10 p.m. with Game 4 of the 2012 Stanley Cup playoff series between the Coyotes and Blackhawks at the United Center. Its the fourth consecutive overtime battle between the two teams, and for the third time, the Coyotes come out on top, as Mikkel Boedker scores the game-winner in a 3-2 victory. Said Boedker: "We're used to playing long now. I mean, we've done it for four games [in a row] and obviously we'd like to not go to overtime. That's probably what everybody [would prefer], but overtime happens and we're just happy we won three of them."
Stay tuned for additional “Classic Coyotes Tuesday” episodes to be added to FOX Sports Arizona's November broadcast schedule.
