Boston Blades advance to Clarkson Cup final

MARKHAM, Ontario (AP) Hilary Knight scored three goals and the Boston Blades beat the Toronto Furies 7-3 on Thursday to advance to the final of the Canadian Women's Hockey League championship.

Boston will face the Montreal Stars in the Clarkson Cup final Saturday

Montreal beat the Calgary Inferno 2-0 on Thursday night.

The Blades swept the best-of-three playoff series with the defending Furies after opening with a 3-0 victory Wednesday. Janine Weber had two goals for Boston, Casey Pickett also scored, and Genevieve Lacasse stopped 18 shots. Megan Bozek, Tessa Bonhomme and Tanis Lamoureux scored for Toronto.

Montreal's Charline Labonte stopped all 32 shots she faced against Calgary. Emmanuelle Blais and Marieve Provost also scored for the Stars. They beat the Inferno 4-0 on Wednesday.
