Boras seeking Choo contract to rival Werth's $126 million

If you plan to sign free agent outfielder Shin-Soo Choo, be prepared to pay a hefty price.
Choo's agent Scott Boras is looking to land his client a seven-year deal worth more than $126 million -- more than outfielder Jayson Werth received from the Nationals before the 2011 season. This is all according to a report from ESPN's Jerry Crasnick:
MLB teams say Scott Boras seeking a Shin-Soo Choo contract worth more than Jayson Werth's $126M deal with #nationals.

It's no secret that Boras has been seeking a nine-figure deal for Choo, who is one of the most attractive free-agents to hit the market this offseason.
A recent poll taken by Associated Press has numerous baseball writers predicting that Choo will land a six-year deal in the $100-120 million range -- and going to the Detroit Tigers.
