Blues trade Lapierre to Pittsburgh for forward Marcel Goc

ST. LOUIS -- The Blues announced Tuesday night that they have acquired forward Marcel Goc from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for forward Maxim Lapierre.  

"We want to thank Max and his family for their dedication to the Blues organization," GM Doug Armstrong said in a press release. "Max is a true professional and was a valued member of our team. We wish him the best of luck in the future."

Goc comes to St. Louis with 10 years of NHL experience and has dressed in 43 games for the Penguins this season. The 6-foot-1 forward had two goals, four assists and four penalty minutes with Pittsburgh. Overall, the Calw, Germany, native he has accumulated 185 points (74 goals, 111 assists) and 153 penalty minutes in 605 career regular season games, as well as 15 points (five goals, 10 assists) and 14 penalty minutes in 59 career postseason appearances.
