ST. LOUIS -- The Blues' 2014 first-round pick will make his debut for the club next weekend in Traverse City, Mich.

St. Louis officially announced the signing of 18-year-old Robby Fabbri on Thursday morning to a three-year, entry-level contract. He'll join the Blues at the 2014 Prospects Tournament on Sept. 12.

Fabbri tallied 45 goals and 42 assists for the Ontario Hockey League's Guelph Storm a year ago before St. Louis took him with the 21st overall pick. The 5-foot-10, 166-pound center will likely return to Guelph for the upcoming season, but he's expected to be a big part of the Blues' future plans.

The signing also makes him eligible to attend training camp later this month, which opens Sept. 18. St. Louis plays its first preseason game Sept. 21 in Columbus and opens the regular season against the New York Rangers on Oct. 9 at the Scottrade Center.
