Blues place Schwartz on IR with injured right foot, recall Jaskin

ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Blues announced Wednesday night that forward Jaden Schwartz has been placed on injured reserve and is considered week to week after suffering an injury to his right foot in the Blues' 5-2 win over the Kings on Tuesday.

Forward Dmitrij Jaskin has been called up from the Blues' American Hockey League affiliate Chicago Wolves to fill his spot on the roster.

Jaskin has played in 17 games for Chicago this season and is in a tie for fourth on the club with 15 points, including four goals and 11 assists. The 6-foot-3, 211-pound forward has appeared in six games with the Blues this season, posting a goal and four penalty minutes.
