Blues make offensive moves, ink four forwards

ST. LOUIS - The Blues made numerous offensive moves on Friday afternoon, announcing deals with four new forwards. Keith Aucoin signed a one-year deal, Mark Mancari and Alexandre Bolduc each drew one-year, two-way contracts while Maxim Lapierre landed a two-year commitment.

Aucoin, 34, dressed in 41 games with the New York Islanders last season posting 12 points including six goals and six assists to go along with four penalty minutes.  In addition, the 5'8, 171-pound forward appeared in 34 games with the American Hockey League's (AHL) Toronto Marlies, registering 37 points (10 goals, 27 assists) and 40 penalty minutes.

Mancari, 27, dressed in 76 games for the American Hockey League's (AHL) Rochester Americans last season, posting 61 points including 22 goals and 39 assists to go along with 68 penalty minutes.

The 6'4, 208-pound forward has appeared in 42 National Hockey League (NHL) games during his career, including stints with Buffalo and Vnacouver, totaling 13 points (three goals, 10 assists) and 22 penalty minutes.

Bolduc, 28, dressed in 14 games with Phoenix last season posting two penalty minutes.  In addition, the 6'3, 200-pound forward appeared in 56 games for the American Hockey League's (AHL) Portland Pirates, tallying 51 points including 24 goals and 27 assists to go along with 90 penalty minutes.

Bolduc has appeared in 62 National Hockey League (NHL) games during his career, including stints with Vancouver and Phoenix, totaling five points (two goals, three assists) and 42 penalty minutes. Bolduc signed a one-year, two-way contract.

Lapierre, 28, dressed in 48 games for Vancouver last season, posting 10 points including four goals and six assists to go along with 45 penalty minutes.  In addition, the 6'2, 207-pound forward registered six penalty minutes in four postseason games.

Overall, Lapierre has appeared in eight National Hockey League (NHL) seasons, including stints with Montreal, Anaheim and Vnacouver, totaling 113 points (54 goals, 59 assists) and 476 penalty minutes in 463 regular season games.  In 69 career postseason games, Lapierre has tallied 13 points (six goals, seven assists) and 140 penalty minutes.
